Any food items will not be provided by the organizer.
Default Time: Players must be at the boards within 5 minutes of the round start.
Rules: FIDE rules in force shall apply.
System of Play: The tournament will follow an six Rounds Swiss System.
Time Control: 15 minutes each plus a 5 second increment from move one.
Tie-break: Buchholz Cut 1, Buchholz, Sonneborn Berger, direct encounter, number of wins (including forfeits), and
number of wins with Black. Prizes will not be shared in case of a tie.

Note:
1. Entry Fee: Non-refundable once paid.
2. Registration: Only through the official website. Class teachers will not handle registrations or payments—do not send money with students.
3. Eligibility: Open only to current Rainbowites (2025-26). No age limit.
4. Reporting Time: Participants must arrive by 8:50 AM sharp.
5. Prizes: Trophies awarded to winners on a school working day. Class-wise prizes based on final rankings.
6. Rolling Trophy: Only a three-time consecutive winner can take it home.
7. Rules: Latest FIDE rules apply. Chief Arbiter’s decision is final.
8. Food & Transport: Not provided; participants must arrange their own.
