Mithilesh P wins Season-II 2nd Sunday Nellore District School Children Prize Money Open Chess Tournament-2022. Mithilesh hold Samad with an edge in the tie breaker.
Defending winner Shaik Samad shared points with the challenger Mithilesh in the fourth round of the event. However, Samad who faced strong players of the event had a walk over point in the 1st round which results to stand behind Mithilesh. Latest winner Mithilesh needs to win the next two Sunday tournaments to take the trophy home.
Top five players of the tournament awarded with the cash prize of 4000/- and 6-10 prizes awarded with trophies. Consolation prizes distributed to young minds.
District Administrative Officer Smt. Malleswari garu, Cardiologist Dr. Bhargavi garu and Anesthetist Dr. Swapna garu awarded Prizes to all the winners. Nellore’s top International Rated Chess Player and Roi Chess Academy Founder Abdul Azeez, FI, players and parents present during the Prize Distribution ceremony.
